Project 1 explores the possibilities of rust on a sheet of steel.  Salt and hydrogen peroxide were mixed, creating a liquid in which fabric was soaked and stained.

Project 2 explores the properties of candle wax.  The wax was melted on a stove and formed into sheets, which were pierced and hung by fishing wire.  Texture and light were explored.

Project 3 utilizes Adobe Illustrator to create a booklet that presents research in the form of case studies and reading assignments, projects 1 and 2, and writing assignments.
