COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN

Adobe Suite & Rhinoceros

PROJECT 1

This project utilizes digital photograpy, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Rhinoceros to explore movement between the hand and a household tool [can opener].  Photographs were layered and composited in Photoshop.  The hand and tool were digitally drawn in Rhinoceros.  Movement of the hand and tool were explored and diagrammed in Illustrator.  The diagrammed movement was rendered three dimensionally in Rhinoceros via lofting.  Finally, a final design was created through wireframe and rendering in Rhinoceros that ultimately portrays movement of the hand and tool.

PROJECT 2

This project utilizes Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.  Found images were manipulated in Photoshop to create one cohesive image, which was rasterized and indexed to create a new composite image.  This rasterized image was translated in Illustrator via line.  Finally, these three composites were redesigned into a final image.
